Engagement Score Analytics · Nongkhaem desk

A score is only useful if a sceptical PM can retell it.

Vault Routecore trains product, research, and lifecycle teams to build Engagement Score Analytics that survive a board slide, a warehouse join, and a quiet disagreement about what “loyal” actually means.

House view

We do not teach dashboards. We teach the argument underneath them.

Most teams already have an “engagement score.” It is usually a recency-weighted average with a name that sounds more scientific than the spreadsheet that produced it. Our work starts where that average fails: when two users with the same number behave nothing alike, or when a campaign inflates the score while quietly thinning the cohort that pays.

In Bangkok we run small studios. You bring a live product question. We insist on a written definition of engagement before any model is touched. Then we practice presenting the score to people who do not live in SQL.

“The recency-weighting week in Resonance Ledger made our wallet team retire a score we had defended for two years. I still think the warehouse homework overran — we needed a dedicated analyst, not a PM with weekend access — but the critique ritual is now on our Monday agenda.”

★★★★☆

Bandcraft was tighter than I expected. We left with three scorebands and one we deliberately refused to automate. Would have liked a fourth afternoon on lifecycle copy, which they do not cover.

What you practice

Four habits we refuse to skip

Signal inventory before weights

You list every event that could enter the score and strike the ones that only flatter the product narrative. Vanity clicks leave the room early.

Scorebands with owners

Each band has a human owner, a trigger, and a stop condition. Engagement Score Analytics without ownership becomes another unread column.

Drift watches

We teach a simple monthly check for cohort drift so last year’s “highly engaged” definition does not silently expire.

Plain-language defence

If you cannot explain the score to a country manager in six sentences, it is not ready. We rehearse that conversation, not a slide theme.

Composite scores are not averages wearing a suit
